Xiong Tongis a professor and supervisor of PhD in Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST). He is nominated for the New Century National Talents Project and is granted the title of “Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert” and receiving special government allowance issued by the State Council. He is the current dean of Faculty of Land Resource Engineering in KUST, the lead professor of “Innovative team to efficiently extract complex and refractory metallic mineral resources in Yunnan Province”, as well as the deputy director of the National enterprise technical center in Yuxi Dahongshan Mining Co Ltd.

Professor Xiong Tong devotes himself into the high-efficient utilization of complex and refractory polymetallic ores, the separation & integrated utilization of rare metals, and comprehensive utilization of tailing resources. He is also engaged in the development and application of flotation reagents.

Chen Luzhengis the professor and doctoral supervisor of the Kunming University of Science and Technology (KMUST), and the young and middle-aged science and technology leader of Yunnan province. In 2017, he is sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) to visit the University of Newcastle in Australia, as visiting professor from 2017 to 2018.

Professor Chen Luzheng has been engaged in the fundamental research of high gradient magnetic separation and its development for new technologies since his pursuit for master`s degree in 2001, and has achieved effective applications in the concentration of fine weakly magnetic ores such as oxidized iron ore and ilmenite ore, in the purification industry of non-metallic ores.
